Ardor Excelsior Academy is excited to announce our new Transition Program designed specifically for licensed court reporters who are making the shift from machine or digital reporting to voice writing.
This specialized program is tailored for professionals who have already been licensed in court reporting and are seeking to change methods while building on their existing expertise.
If you are ready to transition to voice writing and continue your career with confidence, this program is designed for you.
Program of Learning
At Ardor Excelsior Academy, we are committed to preparing you for success in the field of court reporting. In as little as 12 to 18 months, our comprehensive program will teach you every aspect of court reporting, ensuring that once you become certified, you’ll be ready to step confidently into either freelance or official court reporting roles in your state.
Upon completion of the program, students will receive a Certificate of Completion and be fully prepared to sit for certification through the National Verbatim Reporters Association (NVRA).
Your program fee also includes one written and one practical test through NVRA, giving you the tools and opportunities you need to begin your professional journey right away.

We offer both full-time and part-time live class options, providing the classroom interaction and structure many students value, while still accommodating those who work full-time, have families, or simply need the ability to attend classes when it’s most convenient. Our live classes are conducted 100% online, making it easier than ever to connect, learn, and stay on track—no matter where you are.
For those who prefer more independence, we also provide a completely self-paced program, allowing you to take classes on your own schedule and move at the speed that works best for you.
